Testing… Testing… Testing is the way you learn how to make your car perform better. ISP’s repeated testing and
constant product improvements provide the best performing driver protection system. The introduction of sled testing
allows us to dynamically test the loads as seen in a real crash. Implementing crash data recorders in IRL, NASCAR, NHRA
and FIA has supplied us with a baseline of real world data for each incident. Each incident is broken down into
milliseconds allowing us to methodically dissect what actually occurred during the crash or incident. With crash data
in hand we can go to a high G test facility and re-enact any incident. Using data to drive product improvement is what
sets ISP ahead of all others in the industry.
All
ISP products benefit from our testing and design methodology. Our products are designed with a thorough understanding
of loads your body will experience during an impact. We benefit from knowing how your body reacts to certain loads and
what percentages of your mass will be exerted in specific areas of the system. A 215-pound person in a 70G incident
can create forces over 15,000 pounds for a fraction of a second. ISP addresses each zone of the system with a combination
of structural design and energy absorbing foams. Not all foams are equal we utilize many variations and densities depending
on the specific application all of our foams have specific rebound rates. A superior performing foam will have the ability
to reduce the amount of G’s while controlling the rebound velocity. Reduced temperature sensitivity
contribute to the consistent performance of foams during race temperatures.
ISP approaches seat design differently, we take into account the driver's frame size, weight,
and build before recommending a seat. It is our experience a that a custom fit offers the driver the safest, most comfortable
seat available. We understand a seat built to protect a 5' 7", 150 lb. driver should be different from a seat
built to protect a 6' 3", 250 lb. driver, and custom engineer all seats accordingly.

completed over 70 dynamic sled tests, none of my competitors have performed a fraction of this testing. I have spent nearly 20 years engineering, building, and testing
